Steel structure engineering of a dry mortar plant in Katowice (Poland)

INOCON Industrial Plants is developing a project for a New Dry Mortar Plant in Katowice, Poland. The plant consists of a main tower with 52 steel silos and an annex with two more.

Our professional services have included the static analysis and basic and detail engineering of the steel structure of the new buildings described above, including wallgirts, stairs, checkered plate / grating for floors and handrails.

The dimensions of the main tower are 17.00 x 12.00 meters in plant and 61.25 meters height, with an annex measuring 6 x 12 x 17.70 meters. The project also includes the Dryer building, measuring 16.00 x 5.60 x 14.94 meters, and other structures within the existing building and for unloading raw materials. The tower has 14 floors, designed to withstand loads of 500 to 1,500 kg/m2
