Structural calculation in Saudi Arabia

On this occasion, we carried out the calculation and preliminary design of various structures for a leisure area in the city of Mecca (Saudi Arabia), including loads on the ground and slabs, at the request of our client THE LEISURE WAY.

To this end, INGENOVA was responsible for the structural calculations of the various designed elements, the most important of which were: 

• A structure inspired by the jacaranda flower, approximately 13 meters high with an outer diameter of 10 meters at its top.
• Projections above the mall’s floor slab, resembling balconies, shaped like jacaranda flowers and sponges.

• Hanging structures from which textile elements, circular plates, gem-shaped elements, and cube-shaped wooden elements are suspended.
• A structure shaped like a desert tent with a textile canvas covering the top.
• A vertical structure that widens at its upper end, forming a circular surface, with circular screens placed around its perimeter.
