Foundation of two new rollers in Hiemesa (Barcelona)

Our services included the civil engineering of the foundations for two new rollers at the HIEMESA plant in the Free Trade Zone of the Port of Barcelona, as well as their auxiliary equipment (planer extractors, hydraulic unit, etc.)

The work performed for this project included the following:

• Technical specifications for the civil works.
• Foundation calculations.
• Foundation construction plans, including reinforcement and their schedules.
• Demolition plan for the existing foundation.

The civil works were developed in 3D using Tekla software, allowing for improved visualization of interferences and greater precision in the measurements of the work units.
