Civil and detail engineering of a cement grinding plant in Gambia for CEMTEC

Ingenova has developed the basic and detail engineering of foundations, silos and steel structure for the expansion of a cement grinding plant in Gambia for CEMTEC.

The project includes:

• Belt conveyor
  • A steel structure bridge for a belt conveyor, with 2 maintenance walkways, including intermediate supports, and foundations.
• Grinding unit
  • A ball mill for 120 T/h, and its foundation
  • A grinding building in steel structure and its foundation.
  • 3 Dosing bins built in steel.
• Auxiliary services  
  • Electric and compressor rooms
• Cement silos
  • Foundation of 2 cement silos for the storage and bulk loading.

We have designed the clinker and additive reception and transport structures, the dosing hoppers, the grinding building and the mill foundation, the cement transport structures and the cement silo foundations.

The new plant is located in a filled area next to the sea, so all the foundations are deep with in situ piles.
