Engineering for a steel structure of a mixing plant in Texas (USA)

For this project, Ingenova has performed the static and dynamic calculations, as well as the basic and detail engineerig of the steel structure of a new mortar mixing plant in Texas (USA).

This plant includes one mixing line, the provision of a second line, and the additive area for both lines. It also includes an independent steel structure to support nine storage silos for feeding it.

The silo structure will be made of steel and will measure 10.1 x 12.1 x 11.1 meters. It will have a main floor at levels + 6.80 and +10.90 meters. Above the silos, there will be another platform at level 22.80 with its access staircase. The mixing and additive area will measure 12.4 x 12.1 x 9.73 meters and will have platforms at levels + 2.60, +4.00, and + 6.80 meters.

The work carried out consists of a steel structure, which includes the design and static calculation of the steel structure, basic engineering with layout drawings, measurements and calculation report, detail engineering for the fabrication and assembly drawings of the steel structure with its bolted connections, stairs, checkered plate/floor grating and railings.
